What is Aging in Place?
Aging in place means allowing a senior to live in the home of their choosing for as long as possible. Most seniors have lived in their homes for years, forming communities and bonds with their homes. While some situations may warrant the around-the-clock care that only nursing homes can bring, most seniors need only minor home modifications, such as a stairlift or wheelchair ramp, to allow them to comfortably enjoy their homes.
